RTG, or Real Traffic Grapher, is a capable, reliable, and fast SNMP interface poller, data store, and report generation tool-set. RTG can easily generate graphs and text reports of network utilization, including 95th percentile calculations, commonly needed for capacity planning and billing purposes. RTG stores sample data in MySQL.

While configuring and maintaining an SNMP poller is much more a system administration function than a duty of network operators, Innovative realizes that our clients sometimes lack staff members who are experienced in the installation and use of such tools. For this reason, we are willing to perform installation and initial configuration of Cacti or RTG. On-going configuration and maintenance can be provided for a negotiable fee.

Our focus remains network operations, and our fee for this service may be higher than what contract system administrators would charge for the same work.
