INC is sometimes asked to provide on-site technical expertise for equipment turn-ups, substantial topology changes, maintenance, or even something as simple as a planning meeting with a client's network operations team or members of mnagement. Our staff members are able to travel within the contigious United States.

Such travel is typically billed on a per-day basis, and clients are expected to cover airfare and reasonable accomodation expenses. We're also pleased to visit clients' datacenters and/or offices in other regions when required. Advance planning is required for such trips.

In the event our visit to your location is of a technical nature, we will typically prepare and thoroughly review network configuration files and topology diagrams. It's also beneficial to power up and test any new equipment being put into production, and to have cross-connects and carrier circuits tested prior to the arrival of an INC staff member.

It is always our preference that we spend as much time on-site to do a job correctly, but we strive to prepare for such visits to minimize our time on-site, as well as clients' expenditure on our on-site visitation fees.

For visits of a planning nature, we prefer to establish current and proposed topology diagrams, desired network capabilities, estimated costs, and staff introductions via telephone before the arrival of our staff member(s). This allows our meetings to be as productive as possible and maximizes the value clients receive for money spent on planning visits.
